Elba by bike: 100km of bike routes and a bike centre for cyclists

The Ripalte Estate is surrounded by a network of interconnected routes for a total of over one hundred kilometres leading from the beaches to the top of the Calamita mountain (413 m) and suited to all levels of rider, from beginner to, the more expert, free rider.
The limited number of cars allowed to enter the park contributes to road safety and clean air so walkers and cyclists can enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds them in safety.
The fragrances of rosemary and lentisc blend with that of the pine trees and the sea spray enhancing the sensation of living the sea whilst in the mountains. At the centre of the estate there is a Bike centre equipped with a professional repair workshop for repairs and spare parts.

Outside the workshop there is an area for maintenance and where riders can wash their bikes. There is also a mountain bike rental service, a bike deposit and showers.
The sign posted routes may be integrated with the routes proposed as guided excursions in order to cover as much as possible of the Island's wild and unpolluted countryside.
The younger riders who are just beginning this sport can cycle along the ring that surrounds the upper plateau and admire the typical island towns of Capolivieri and Porto Azzurro.
